Clarity in Every Assessment, Without the Wait.

Raised in Western Massachusetts with strong Portuguese roots, Nadia understands how deeply language, culture and community shape the way people communicate.

She is the founder of Multilingual Speech and Language Services of New England and a licensed speech-language pathologist with more than 20 years of experience in school and healthcare systems.

Nadia provides culturally responsive speech and language consultation, assessment and treatment in English, Portuguese and Spanish for individuals of all ages, families, schools and healthcare organizations.

Why Nadia Started the Business

Throughout her career, Nadia saw how easily multilingual individuals could be misunderstood and misidentified when their language and cultural background were not fully considered.

Her own Portuguese heritage and connection to the Western Massachusetts community inspired her to create a service where every person’s complete story could be part of the conversation.

Multilingual Speech and Language Services of New England was founded to provide thoughtful, culturally informed guidance that helps families, educators and professionals better understand communication needs and make confident decisions.

Because understanding communication requires more than translating words. It requires understanding the person behind them.

More Than 20 Years of Experience

Nadia has worked with children, adults and older adults across educational and healthcare settings. This broad experience allows her to understand how communication needs can change throughout a person’s life and across different environments.

Her areas of experience include:

  • Speech and language consultation for schools

  • Multilingual communication support for individuals and families

  • Consultation for healthcare and senior living organizations

  • Culturally responsive guidance in English, Portuguese and Spanish

  • Collaborative support for educators, caregivers and professionals

  • Experience in post stroke, traumatic brain injury, swallowing disorders, voice disorders, pragmatic disorders, articulation and language disorders

A Thoughtful, Collaborative Approach

No two people communicate in exactly the same way. Nadia considers each individual’s language, culture, environment and lived experiences before offering guidance.

Her approach begins with listening. She works collaboratively with families, schools and healthcare professionals to provide clear, practical recommendations grounded in experience and cultural understanding.

Her goal is simple: to help every individual feel heard, understood and respected.
